Description

This course examines American history after the Civil War. We will study how America became a new urbanizing and industrializing landscape and how the US developed from the end of the Civil War to a world power. The course will also cover Jim Crow South; immigration; urbanization; Populism and the Progressivism; Reaganism; consumerism and social movements.
